Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
(RCIA)
The RCIA is the process by which adults come into the Catholic faith. There are many for whom the process is designed:- Those who are unbaptized and uncatechized who wish to become Catholic
- Those who are baptized in another faith and would like to be accepted into "full communion" with the Catholic Church
- Those who are baptized Catholic, but would like to become "fully initiated" members of the Church in recieving the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation at the Easter Vigil.
There are other situations as well, but most will fit into one of these three categories. Our greatest desire is to help adults in this process grow in their faith and in their relationship to Jesus Christ. Sessions for 2018-19 begin on Tuesday September 22 at 7:00 pm.
